GET TO KNOW INJILI TIMILIFU (full Gospel) TEAM

In response to the Great Commission by our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ in Mathew 28:18-20 we have had concerted efforts in trying to reach our Muslims brothers with the gospel of Jesus Christ in our region and beyond.
The challenge to reach Muslims is enormous considering that it is one of the fastest growing religions in the world today and which has an intricate system of living among its members. Islam has currently 1.5 Billion adherents. Which doubles every 27 years. Christianity has 3.6 Billion followers doubling every 54 years.

MOTIVATION.
Islam as a religion has set in place missions to reach as many people as possible and if possible win them to Islam using every means available to them even if it means luring them with financial promises. They have established teams of preachers who are funded to go round propagating Islam by spreading propaganda about Christianity through deliberate distortion of the Holy Scriptures to unsuspecting Christian brothers who happen to have little or limited knowledge of the Bible  and the message of salvation.
Due to that we felt challenged as Christians and formed a team of devoted believers who are willing to work among Muslims through public meetings and person to person evangelism within our region i.e. Kenyan Coastal Strip.

OUTREACH METHODS
The Team is well trained in Quranic and Biblical studies and Outreach techniques relevant to our mission and has gained considerable experience by working among Muslims especially in Muslim dominated centers in the City of Mombasa and its surroundings. We also plan meetings in other towns outside Mombasa. Currently we are using several methods in reaching our Muslim brothers.

1.      PUBLIC MEETINGS: In this we identify areas where we have Muslim presence and hold meetings and teach the gospel. Presentation methods are different from the ones used in our regular crusades since after the lesson Muslim listeners are allowed to ask questions relevant to the topic. We also plan public debates with the Muslim preachers and both of us share the platform as we present our lessons in turn, then at the end of the presentations from both sides the listeners ask questions which are also answered by both sides

2.   INDOOR DEBATES:   Much like the outside dialogues, we at times arrange to debate with Muslim scholars and preachers in public halls. People at the coast have a culture of sitting down to discuss issues affecting them, from daily politics of the country to matters of religion. We therefore seek to use that avenue for Christ.
